TikTok Earnings Calculator
The TikTok Money Calculator was created to help TikTok creators and influencers estimate their potential earnings based on several key factors, including the number of followers and their posting frequency. Here’s an explanation of how the calculator works and the formula we used to create the estimations:
How The TikTok Calculator Works:
- Add your Information:
- Number of Followers: Start by entering the total number of TikTok followers. This number is important because it impacts the potential reach and engagement of their content.
- Videos Posted Per Month: Also add how many videos they/you post in a month. This helps in calculating the content frequency and its potential earnings.
- Calculation Process:
- Based on the number of followers, the calculator categorizes users into different influencer tiers (e.g., micro-influencers, mid-tier influencers, macro-influencers, and TikTok royalty), each with a specific earnings range per post.
- It then calculates the average earnings per post within the relevant tier, adjusting for the total number of followers to provide a more reasonable estimate.
- For influencers with followers under 10,000, the calculator will let you know that they might not yet qualify for the TikTok Creator Fund, which is a requirement for earning directly from TikTok.
- Earnings Estimation:
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Earnings: Using the average earnings per post and the number of videos posted per month, the calculator estimates potential earnings over different timeframes. This will give you a view of potential income from your TikTok activities.
How Does The Formula Work?
The formula we use for calculating TikTok earnings is based on the influencer tier, with adjustments made for the exact number of followers within each tier to provide a more precise estimate. Here’s a simplified version of the formula:
- Earnings Per Post (EPP): Depending on the influencer tier, a base earnings figure is adjusted according to the number of followers. For example, earnings might start at $60 for 10,000 followers and increase to $90 for 100,000 followers per video, with a slow progression for numbers in between.
- Total Earnings: The EPP is then multiplied by the number of videos posted per month to estimate monthly earnings. This figure can be further broken down into daily, weekly, and yearly earnings by dividing or multiplying accordingly.
How Much Can You Earn On TikTok?
For most influencers TikTok pays between $0.02 and $0.05 for every 1,000 depending on your content, ability to go viral and which country your video will go viral in. So if one your videos gets a million views you could earn around $20-$50 for that one video.
It is not hard to get a million views from TikTok these days, the random video you upload could go viral at anytime without expectation. I have had several videos go viral and 2 of them had over 5 million views, unfortunately I didn’t have more than 10,000 followers so I never qualified for the TikTok creator Fund yet.
According to Dexerto.com here are the top 5 influencers on TikTok and they are making bank like crazy:
- Khabane Lame – $258,500 per post
- Charli D’Amelio – $242,700 per post
- Bella Poarch — $150,200 per post
- MrBeast — $147,700
- Addison Rae — $141,800 per post
But there’s a difference between them and creators like us, they went viral early on and some have even had millions of followers on other platforms and they just migrated to TikTok with their followers, like MrBeast, who was already famous on YouTube before coming to TikTok. But for us, we are just starting out and haven’t had the luck of going viral yet.
There is other ways to earn money on TikTok, you could sell merch or go live and receive gifts, you will earn the most from these two strategies from loyal fans vs from viral videos. There’s a reason people are following you, they are loyal to you and there’s a pretty good chance they will buy your merch or send you gifts on your live streams because they believe in you and they love your content. You can create your own TikTok shop and sell merch, can you imagine going viral with millions of views and having a store right inside your video? You’d be making bank!
Our TikTok Calculator above can give you the inspiration you need. We all need inspiration sometimes to help us get that small push to keep going. The biggest problem you will face when trying to make money with TikTok is commitment, you must keep posting videos wither it’s daily, weekly or monthly, but the more you post the faster you could become rich.
Final Thoughts
I personally find it hard to go viral on TikTok but only because I am focused on other stuff, if you focus hard on creating unique videos you have a better chance to go viral at any time. You should focus on posting videos daily for a better success rate, create a brand and monetize it. Share your videos to Facebook, Reddit and Pinterest and you will soon gain a small following. In TikTok’s case, hard work will eventually pay off.
